VIC: Man charged over robbery at ATM

Melbourne police have charged a man with robbery and theft after a woman was robbed as she
withdrew money at an ATM in the city centre.

Police say the woman was standing at the Commonwealth Bank ATM at about 5.30pm yesterday
when a man pushed her aside and stole the cash as it was being dispensed from the machine.

The fled on foot but was arrested a short time later.

The 18-year-old man from Werribee has been granted bail to appear at Melbourne Magistrates
court in April.
