Fed: Fourth man charged over big heroin seizure

A fourth man has been charged in Victoria's biggest-ever heroin importation case.

Federal police say a 32-year-old man has been charged with aiding and abetting the
importation of a prohibited drug.

This follows the charging of three other men on Thursday after police seized 50 kilograms
of suspected high-grade heroin in a raid near the beachside holiday town of Lorne.

The heroin is believed to have a street value of millions of dollars.

Police say the fourth man is due to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
