SLINGERLANDS -- Clara LaPatka, 84, of McCormack Road, died at her residence Tuesday of natural causes. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Anastasia Rogolsky LaPatka. She had lived in Capital District for the past 11 years. She had attended the R.O.I. Smith Center in Guilderland where she was involved in many activities. Clara made many friends and brightened the day of all around her. She is survived by many friends at Residential Opportunities who were lucky enough to have known her and who will miss her dearly. She was the sister of the late Louis and Agnes LaPatka. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. from the St. Thomas Church, Delmar. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Long Island City, NY. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Marra FUneral Home, corner of Remsen and Columbia Streets, Cohoes.
